Farhana Bodi is a Dubai-based entrepreneur and fashion personality who was born in India and raised in Durban, South Africa. Dubai has been her home since 2008. She began at 19 as a makeup artist and model, and she went on to found I Woman of the World, a lifestyle brand that celebrates women and brings brands and clients together at events. She is fluent in four languages, including Hindi and Gujarati, and her modelling assignments have taken her to campaigns for Versace and Comlux.
Netflix fans know her as an original cast member of Dubai Bling, the hit series that premiered in October 2022 and returned for a third season in January 2025. Her fashion résumé is every bit as busy. She opened Atelier Zuhra's London Fashion Week show in 2020, walked the Cannes red carpet in 2022 and 2026, and attended Stéphane Rolland's Haute Couture show in Paris in July 2026. Her FAYORE label launched in 2025 and celebrates travel, glamour and statement dressing.
Mijwan Celebrates 15 Years in Mumbai
Mumbai's fashion crowd gathered on September 26 for a celebration that a whole lot of people had been waiting for. Manish Malhotra, often called Bollywood's favourite designer, unveiled his latest Mijwan collection and marked 15 years of his collaboration alongside the Mijwan Welfare Society. Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal took the runway as showstoppers, while Kajol, Shilpa Shetty and Madhuri Dixit filled the front row.
The backdrop announced the occasion in big, crisp lettering. L'Oréal Paris presented the evening, and the Mijwan Welfare Society name ran along the wall, so every camera had a gorgeous background to shoot against. Farhana Bodi turned in profile, planted a hand on her hip and lifted her chin, letting the ponytail and the pallu create a graceful silhouette. Her pose looked relaxed and playful, and the cameras clicked away happily, so every photographer left happy after that lovely night's photos.
Every angle gave the photographers something to love. The front view showed off the dotted pattern, the side view showed the fall of the fringe, and the long shadow on the wall behind her added a fun extra. Their skill is the heartbeat of the Mijwan line, and their work earns cheers on every runway. Each Mijwan piece holds the patience of the hands that stitched it, and that makes the collection a joy to celebrate.
The Mijwan Welfare Society deserves plenty of credit, and the fifteenth year gave everybody a chance to cheer for it. Fifteen years of that partnership is a huge achievement, and it makes the guest list, the sequins and the flashbulbs all the sweeter. A pink saree, a great team and a worthy cause made Mumbai's evening unforgettable, and she was a very joyful part of it from the opening flash to the closing photo.
