Tejasswi Prakash is an Indian actress working in Hindi television and Marathi films, and her shelf holds both an Indian Television Academy Award and an Indian Telly Award. Her acting journey started in 2012, and Ragini Gadodia in the Colors TV serial Swaragini turned her into a household name. Pehredaar Piya Ki and Karn Sangini followed, and a B.E. degree from the University of Mumbai adds an extra feather to her cap.

The reality shows lifted her popularity even higher. She took on Khatron Ke Khiladi 10 in 2020, then won Bigg Boss 15 in the January 2022 finale by taking the highest public vote, beating runner-up Pratik Sehajpal. Naagin 6 handed her the lead role of Pratha Gujral, her Marathi film debut came in November 2022, and in 2026 she made her streaming fiction debut as Charu Lata in the romantic thriller Psycho Saiyaan. Her runway résumé is just as shiny, since she was a showstopper for designer Rina Dhaka’s western collection at the Indore Times Fashion Week grand finale in 2022.

Tejasswi Prakash Brings Boardroom Tailoring to Delhi

She recently gave Delhi a showstopper worth talking about. Tejasswi Prakash took the runway at Lakmé Fashion Week x FDCI for NIF Global, and her styling turned office wear into a full fashion treat. A burgundy pinstriped waistcoat gave the outfit a strong backbone. A balloon-sleeved shirt added a playful twist, and a grey asymmetrical wrap skirt featuring a slit gave every stride a flirty flick. A matching blazer hung from her hand, ready for the reveal that came next.

Her walk opened the celebrity runway, so the mood of the day began on a high note. Corporate-inspired tailoring is a fun idea for any fashion week, and a television favourite brought it to life in front of the cameras.

The Blazer Reveal Everyone Loved

Here is the part admirers talked about most. Midway down the runway, Tejasswi slipped the blazer off her shoulders and let the waistcoat and skirt take the spotlight. It was a cheeky little twist, and her confident walk made it look easy. Tailoring can look serious on a hanger, yet one casual shrug turned it into a joyful show. The gesture gave the outfit a second act, and it gave the cameras a fresh round of pictures to capture. Pinstripes have rarely had such a good day out.

Good styling always leaves a little surprise for the runway, and this one delivered. The tailored waistcoat stayed in charge while the blazer took a bow, and the whole outfit read like a story that had a happy twist in the middle. Fashion lovers in Delhi got a spirited reveal, and the pinstriped ensemble looked right at home under the runway lights.

A Showstopper Finale for NIF Global

Her walk was the finishing touch of the whole presentation. Tejasswi closed the NIF Global showcase, continued to the end of the runway, and then joined the other models for the finale. Celebrity reports described her as the label’s showstopper, and admirers gave her a fitting nickname: Boss Lady. In a maroon pinstripe look and a blazer in hand, the title suited her beautifully. Her presence gave the last stretch of the show a star turn, and the models around her got a front row seat to the fun. The finale brought the whole NIF Global cast together on the runway, and her closing walk gave the crowd a big finish to remember. Admirers praised her styling and her expressions as much as her confident stride.

Student Designers Own the Runway

The creative engine behind the evening was the group of NIF Global students. Their presentation, titled The Modern Professional, reworked workwear into experimental designs. Contemporary prêt pieces and sculptural silhouettes filled the runway, giving a clear picture of the next generation’s taste. Every creation showed a young designer’s imagination, and a television star wore their vision proudly under the lights of the Taj Palace. Creativity, celebrity and celebration all joined the party, and the students got the grand stage they deserved. A showcase like this gives emerging talent a chance to meet a big crowd, and the response in Delhi was a warm one.

Tejasswi Prakash Adds Star Glow to Delhi’s Craft Week

Lakmé Fashion Week x FDCI ran from October 13 to 18 at the Taj Palace in New Delhi, and the lineup was a treat from the first day. Aneeth Arora opened the week for péro by presenting a pink Barbie collaboration called Dream Dress-Up, complete in a ribbon-bowed jacket, knee socks and butter-yellow heels. Anushree Reddy loaded her Maya presentation up on zardozi, sequins and beads, and Suneet Varma honoured Varanasi in his Kashi collection. Samant Chauhan teamed up for a Jaisalmer collaboration, and Tarun Tahiliani sent out grooms.

Tejasswi’s walk became one of the week’s favourite fashion stories. Tailoring, a surprise blazer reveal and a student collection all came together in one fabulous show. It was a fashion icon doing her thing on the runway, and it was truly iconic. Delhi gave her a runway, and she gave Delhi a story worth retelling.
