Schengen Visa Holders Can Visit Romania & Bulgaria Now
UAE residents holding a valid Schengen visa no longer need additional documentation to visit Romania and Bulgaria. Both countries officially became full Schengen Area members on 1 January 2025, bringing the total to 29 nations and removing all remaining internal border checks.

Arab League Honours UAE Over Illicit Arms Trade Fight
The Arab League awarded the UAE for its efforts in fighting the illicit trade in small arms and light weapons at a Cairo conference held in partnership with the European Union. Mohamed Suhail Al Neyadi accepted the honour on behalf of the UAE delegation.
