Dubai is getting its first private beach club experience — and it comes straight from the French Riviera. Chouchou, the city's first members-only private beach club, will soft-launch on October 17, 2024 at J1 Beach in La Mer Dubai, bringing St. Tropez-style elegance to the emirate's coastline.

Chouchou is a French-style beach house designed to evoke the relaxed luxury of the Côte d'Azur, while retaining a warm, family-friendly atmosphere. The venue occupies a striking two-storey structure at J1 Beach, with the ground floor open to the public as a restaurant and bar, and the upper floor reserved exclusively for members — offering private lounge access and direct beach privileges.
French Fine Dining at the Heart of It
The culinary programme at Chouchou is helmed by Chef Valentin Bernigaud, formerly of Le Ritz Paris and a protégé of Michelin-starred chef Joël Robuchon. The menu leans into French culinary tradition, with a refined yet approachable approach to beachside dining. Members also gain access to exclusive tasting nights, artisan producer events, and Thursday soirees at Les Salons.

Chouchou has been designed with group gatherings in mind. The club features spacious round tables for large families and parties, a vintage-style swimming pool, private cabanas, and a sunset lounge that sets the scene for long evenings by the sea. The club operates daily from 9 AM to 2 AM at J1 Beach, La Mer Dubai. Membership at Chouchou
Memberships at Chouchou are offered at AED 15,500 per year for individuals, AED 24,500 for couples, and AED 45,500 for families (up to three children under 14). A one-time application fee of AED 10,500 applies, which is redeemable on food and beverages.
