Coldplay fans in the UAE who missed out when the band last performed earlier in 2024 now have another chance to see them live. Coldplay has released Infinity Tickets priced at Dhs74 for its four-night run at Zayed Sports City Stadium in Abu Dhabi as part of the Music of the Spheres World Tour — and they are considerably cheaper than the standard seats.
What Are Coldplay Infinity Tickets?
Infinity Tickets are Coldplay's own budget-ticket programme, designed to make stadium shows accessible to fans regardless of income. Globally, the tickets are sold at $20, €20 or £20 — in Abu Dhabi that works out to Dhs74.
The scheme has already been rolled out successfully in the USA and Europe, and a limited number of Infinity Tickets will be available for each of the four Abu Dhabi shows at the 45,000-seat Zayed Sports City Stadium:
- Thursday, 9 January 2025 - Saturday, 11 January 2025 - Sunday, 12 January 2025 - Tuesday, 14 January 2025
Coldplay originally confirmed just one Abu Dhabi concert, but overwhelming demand led to three additional dates being added — making this one of the biggest international music events in UAE history.
How to Buy Coldplay Infinity Tickets Abu Dhabi
Infinity Tickets go on sale through the band's official website at noon GST on Friday, 22 November 2024.
Key rules to know before you buy:
- Tickets are sold in pairs only — you can purchase up to two per buyer. - Seating is randomly assigned across seven sections of the venue, including floor-level and elevated viewing areas. - You will not know your exact seat in advance — the location is revealed only when you collect your ticket at the venue box office on the day of the show.
Why Infinity Tickets Are Worth It
Standard tickets for the Abu Dhabi shows were originally priced at Dhs195, making Infinity Tickets a saving of more than 60%. The programme reflects Coldplay's stated commitment to making live music affordable for as many people as possible.
The Music of the Spheres World Tour has sold over 10 million tickets globally since launching in March 2022, making it the most-attended tour by a group in history. Abu Dhabi's four-show run marks the tour's only Middle East stop, with up to 180,000 fans expected across all dates.
With limited allocations per show, Infinity Tickets are expected to sell out quickly — set a reminder for noon GST on 22 November.
