Dubai will offer longer park hours, family-friendly recreational events, and safe abattoir services throughout Eid Al Adha 2025. Dubai Municipality has released updated timetables so families can plan their activities across the emirate during the June 5–8 holiday break.

Businesses in the UAE will be closed from Thursday, June 5 through Sunday, June 8 — covering Arafat Day and the three days of Eid Al Adha — with employees returning to work on Monday, June 9.

Abattoir Services During Eid Al Adha 2025

To support the tradition of animal sacrifice during Eid Al Adha, Dubai's four licensed abattoirs will be operational throughout the holiday period:

Al Quoz AbattoirAl Quoz
Al Lisaili AbattoirAl Lisaili
Hatta AbattoirHatta

All four facilities will operate from 7:30am to 4:00pm during Eid. Each abattoir provides:

- Veterinary inspections - Sterilised equipment - Skilled butchers

Residents are strongly encouraged to book in advance and arrange meat delivery through approved apps rather than using unauthorised butchers. Authorities estimate that approximately 80,000 animals will be processed across Dubai's abattoirs during Eid Al Adha 2025.

Plan your Eid celebrations ahead of time to make the most of Dubai's parks and facilities throughout the long weekend.
