Coldplay is making history in Abu Dhabi this week with four consecutive sold-out performances at Zayed Sports City Stadium. The dates — January 9, 11, 12, and 14 — were always going to draw tens of thousands of fans, and organisers have put extensive free transport arrangements in place to get everyone there safely. If you are heading to any of the shows, here is everything you need to know about the Coldplay Abu Dhabi shuttle buses.
Free Shuttle Buses from Dubai
Concert-goers travelling from Dubai can use a free park-and-ride service from Expo City Dubai directly to Zayed Sports City Stadium. Buses operate on all four concert days, with departures starting at 12:50 PM. The service runs on a first-come, first-served basis — no appointment is needed, but arriving early is strongly recommended.
To use the Expo City Dubai shuttle, fans must book a free ticket in advance via the Ticketmaster platform. Tickets are available at livenation.me/coldplay.
Free Shuttle Buses from Abu Dhabi
For fans already in Abu Dhabi, complimentary shuttle buses depart from four locations:
- Al Shahama - Sas Al Nakhl - Al Raha - Nation Towers
Buses depart from all four points from 1:57 PM. The Al Shahama service also requires a free pre-booked Ticketmaster ticket; the Sas Al Nakhl, Al Raha, and Nation Towers buses do not require advance booking.
Return shuttles back to all pick-up locations will run after each concert and continue until 1:00 AM.
Parking and Getting to the Venue
Fans planning to drive should be aware: there is no parking at Zayed Sports City Stadium on any of the four concert dates. Coldplay's production has asked attendees not to drive to the venue directly, in line with the band's commitment to reducing carbon emissions.
Drivers must park at one of the designated locations — Al Shahama, Sas Al Nakhl, Al Raha, or Nation Towers in Abu Dhabi, or Expo City Dubai — and take the free shuttle from there.
All four shows are completely sold out. No tickets will be available at the venue.
