Etihad Airways launched a four-day flash sale on Monday, July 15, offering steep discounts on selected routes departing from Abu Dhabi's Zayed International Airport. The sale runs until midnight on Thursday, July 18 — giving travellers a narrow window to lock in some of the lowest fares the airline has offered this summer.

Flash Sale Fares: What's on Offer

Passengers can book round-trip economy class tickets from as little as Dhs640 to popular destinations including Athens, Mumbai, Colombo and Male in the Maldives. For those with longer trips in mind, discounted return fares on long-haul routes — including New York, Sydney and Toronto — start from Dhs4,750.

All discounted fares are valid for travel between Sunday, September 1 and Saturday, November 30, so travellers have the autumn season to use their tickets.

Etihad's Expanding Summer Network

The flash sale coincides with a period of significant growth for Etihad Airways. The airline added eight new destinations to its global network starting from June 2024 — including Bali, Al Qassim in Saudi Arabia, Palma de Mallorca, and Kraków — alongside the return of popular seasonal routes to Mykonos, Santorini, Malaga and Nice.

Etihad has also increased flight frequencies to the Greek islands, with Mykonos and Santorini receiving additional services to meet strong summer demand.

Earlier in 2024, the airline launched two daily direct flights connecting the UAE with Kozhikode and Thiruvananthapuram in Kerala, further deepening its India network ahead of the summer travel peak.

How to Book

Tickets must be purchased before the sale closes at midnight on July 18. Fares can be booked directly through the Etihad Airways website or via the Etihad app. Travel is valid from September 1 through November 30, 2024.
