If you have not been to AquaFun Dubai yet, this is your sign. Floating right off the shore at JBR Beach, this giant inflatable obstacle park Aquafun holds the Guinness World Record for the world’s largest inflatable water park, and it is exactly as wild and chaotic as it sounds. With 115+ diverse obstacles, 8 slides, and a full view of the Dubai Marina skyline and the Ain Dubai observation wheel, AquaFun is the kind of experience you will still be talking about two weeks later. You are going to fall in. Repeatedly. That is the entire point.
What Is AquaFun Dubai?
AquaFun is a floating inflatable obstacle course sitting at JBR Beach, with a unique layout that spells out “I Love Dubai” when viewed from above. I Love Dubai The park spans 42,000 square meters and features 150+ obstacles for families, kids, and thrill-seekers right off the shore.
Your ticket gets you unlimited all-day access, from morning to sunset. You can buy tickets through the official website at aquafun.ae or at the on-site counter at The Beach JBR. Third-party resellers are not authorized, and entry will be refused for tickets bought elsewhere.
What to Expect When You Get There
After checking in, you receive a wristband and attend a quick safety orientation. You can reach the park by swimming just 15 meters from the shore, or opt for the boat service at 100 AED per person for a round trip. Basic swimming skills are required. Life jackets are provided, and the experience tests your coordination, stamina, upper body, lower body, and core strength in the most entertaining way possible. The park also offers a boat service to the platform for 100 AED per person, round trip, if you prefer not to swim out. Once you are on the course, you will find climbing walls, giant bouncy platforms, hurdles, and slides, all set up on the open Gulf Sea.
The course runs multiple routes at different difficulty levels. You run, jump, climb, and slide your way through obstacles with the Dubai Marina skyline right behind you and Ain Dubai in full view. Every single photo comes out looking insane.
One hour at AquaFun burns 700 to 1,200 calories. So yes, this is technically a workout.
Lockers and changing rooms are available on-site, with changing rooms a 2-minute walk from reception. No on-site dining exists, but The Beach JBR has plenty of food options nearby.
