Dubai Mall parking fees arrived on July 1, 2024, with the world's largest shopping mall switching to a barrier-free Salik payment system across its three main lots. If you are planning a visit, here is exactly what you will pay — and how to avoid paying anything at all.
How Dubai Mall Parking Fees Work
The paid parking system uses Salik's licence-plate recognition technology to automatically deduct charges from your Salik account when you exit. There are no barriers, no tickets, and no payment booths. The fee depends on how long you stay and whether it is a weekday or weekend.
Charges apply only to the Grand, Cinema, and Fashion Avenue parking zones. The Zabeel and Fountain Views parking areas remain completely free.

Tips to Park for Free at Dubai Mall
The simplest way to avoid Dubai Mall parking fees is to plan your visit around the free windows. Head in on a weekday and keep your stay under four hours, or visit on a Friday, Saturday, or Sunday and aim to leave within six hours. Alternatively, park in the Zabeel or Fountain Views zones, which carry no charge regardless of how long you stay.
