Bargain hunters and budget-conscious shoppers in the UAE have official confirmation: Primark Dubai is coming, and it is bringing its famously low prices with it. The Irish fast-fashion giant is set to open not one but three stores in Dubai in the first quarter of 2026, following a franchise deal with regional retail powerhouse Alshaya Group.
Three Primark Dubai Stores Confirmed
Alshaya Group CEO John Hadden made the announcement during an interview on Virgin Radio Dubai's Kris Fade Show, naming the three locations directly.
"We're going to open not one, and not two, but three stores in Dubai in the early part of 2026," Hadden said. "The prices won't change — jeans just Dhs50 and simple T-shirts Dhs15. I'm literally jumping out of my skin I am so happy!"
The confirmed Primark Dubai locations are:
- Dubai Mall - Mall of the Emirates - City Centre Mirdif
Kuwait Gets the Region's First Store
Before the Dubai openings, the Middle East's very first Primark store is scheduled to open at The Avenues Mall in Kuwait by the end of 2025. The UAE rollout follows directly after.
What Primark Sells — and Why It Matters for Dubai
Founded in Dublin over 55 years ago as Penneys, Primark has grown into one of the world's largest value fashion chains, with more than 450 stores across 15 European countries and 16 US states. The brand is known for affordable womenswear, menswear, kidswear, footwear, homewares, cosmetics, and accessories — all at prices that undercut most high-street competitors.
What to Expect at the Dubai Stores
The Dubai shops are expected to carry the same broad product range that has made Primark a fixture on high streets across Europe. Whether it's on-trend womenswear, basics for men, children's clothing, or home essentials, the range covers everyday needs at a fraction of typical UAE retail prices.
Primark's arrival is expected to shift Dubai's budget retail landscape, drawing both residents and tourists who want affordable fashion without sacrificing choice or style.
With these three openings, Dubai joins a fast-growing list of global cities that have embraced Primark's value-first approach — and for shoppers here, the wait is nearly over.
