Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, congratulated KP Sharma Oli on becoming Nepal's Prime Minister. Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the UAE's Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, and Chairman of the Presidential Court, also extended his congratulations through a separate message.
Both leaders expressed their support for the new journey that PM Oli is embarking upon and highlighted their commitment to enhancing the bilateral relationship between the UAE and Nepal under his leadership.

KP Sharma Oli, who leads the Communist Party of Nepal (Unified Marxist–Leninist), was appointed Prime Minister on 14 July 2024 and sworn in the following day — marking his fourth term in the role. His government is a coalition that includes the CPN-UML and the Nepali Congress.
The UAE's swift outreach to PM Oli's new administration highlights the Emirates' ongoing commitment to strengthening ties across South Asia.
