The UAE Fuel Price Committee was set to release November 2024 petrol prices this week, as a succession of monthly cuts left pump costs at their lowest point since February 2024. In October, the committee reduced prices by 8–9% for Super 98, Special 95, and E-Plus 91 gasoline, and by 6.5% for diesel — a sharper easing than many drivers had anticipated.
UAE November 2024 Petrol Prices in Context
Tracking prices through the year shows how far fuel costs have fallen. E-Plus 91 opened January 2024 at AED 2.64 per litre and had dropped to AED 2.47 per litre by October. Special 95 and Super 98 both dipped below their January levels, settling at AED 2.54 and AED 2.66 respectively. Diesel, which traded at AED 3.00 per litre in January, came down to AED 2.60 per litre in October.
October 2024 fuel prices were:
- Super 98: AED 2.66/litre (down from AED 2.90 in September) - Special 95: AED 2.54/litre (down from AED 2.78 in September) - E-Plus 91: AED 2.47/litre (down from AED 2.71 in September) - Diesel: AED 2.60/litre (down from AED 2.78 in September)
How UAE Fuel Pricing Works
Following pandemic-era reforms, the UAE scrapped its fuel price cap in March 2021. Since then, the Fuel Price Committee has reviewed pump prices every month, aligning them with global crude oil market movements. The mechanism keeps UAE petrol competitively priced and directly reflects international supply-and-demand shifts.

What to Watch for in November
Global oil prices have remained volatile, with OPEC+ supply decisions continuing to influence the market. The committee's November announcement reflects those movements, and drivers should check the official UAE government channels for the confirmed per-litre rates effective November 1, 2024.
