UAE President HH Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan commenced a state visit to the Republic of Korea on Tuesday, 28 May 2024, as an official guest of President Yoon Suk Yeol. The South Korea state visit marked a major step in the longstanding strategic relationship between the two nations.

During the two-day visit, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed held high-level talks with President Yoon Suk Yeol focused on bilateral cooperation and key areas for further development. Priority sectors included trade, investment, oil and gas, and high technologies.
These discussions were conducted within the framework of the special strategic partnership between the UAE and the Republic of Korea — a relationship built on mutual commitments to progressive and sustainable economic development guided by the principles of a diversified economy.
