Executive Council Chairman Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum has officially announced Dubai AI Week 2025, a landmark five-day gathering scheduled for April 21–25, 2025. The event will bring together AI experts, industry leaders, and innovators from around the world at iconic Dubai venues — reinforcing the emirate's position as a global hub for artificial intelligence.
Event Highlights
Dubai AI Week 2025 will showcase major events at the Museum of the Future, AREA 2071 at Emirates Towers, and Madinat Jumeirah, including:
- AI Retreat — More than 1,000 industry leaders, technologists, and innovators will convene to discuss AI opportunities and launch ten new strategic AI initiatives. - Dubai Assembly for Generative AI — With approximately 1,800 participants, this event will feature 25 sessions and engaging experiences from major technology firms. - Global Prompt Engineering Championship — Forty ideas and concepts will be showcased, with 12 advancing to compete for an AED 1,000,000 ($272,000) prize by demonstrating innovative AI applications. - Dubai AI Festival — Held at Madinat Jumeirah, the festival will host 5,000 business leaders, 500 investors, and 100 exhibitors from 100 countries. - Machines Can See Summit — The machine vision technologies conference and exhibition will draw 5,000 participants, including 300 startups and 100 C-level executives.
AI in Dubai's Vision
The initiative aligns with Dubai's AI Universal roadmap, which focuses on the positive impact of AI technology across different sectors. Sheikh Hamdan emphasised that Dubai's strategy is to build an end-to-end ecosystem that supports innovation, public-private partnerships, and investment in AI.
Educating Future Generations
A week-long, KHDA-led educational programme for Dubai schools will encourage students to understand AI concepts and their applications — preparing the next generation for the industries of the future.
A Milestone Event
Dubai AI Week is projected to attract over 15,000 participants across its multiple events, making it a major ground for AI innovation, partnership, and international cooperation, as well as a venue for announcing new global projects in Dubai.
