Bangladeshi singer, actor, and TV host Tahsan Khan has confirmed his marriage to Roza Ahmed — full name Umme Habiba Roza — a celebrated bridal makeup artist and entrepreneur based in New York. The two wed on Saturday, January 4, 2025, in a family-only ceremony that followed a Gaye Holud celebration on Friday.
Wedding Confirmed After Viral Gaye Holud Photos
The couple's pre-wedding Gaye Holud ceremony set social media ablaze once photos of the two surfaced online. Well-wishers flooded Facebook with congratulatory messages, waiting for Tahsan to make an official announcement.
Tahsan confirmed the news on Saturday evening, telling Prothom Alo: "Indeed the wedding was held today and the members of two families were present. We tied the knot today. Say a prayer for us so that I and my future spouse can steward this connection well."
Only close family members attended the ceremony — a deliberately intimate affair before the public announcement.
Who Is Roza Ahmed?
Roza Ahmed hails from Barishal, Bangladesh, and has lived in New York for over three years. A professional bridal makeup artist with more than three years of experience, she owns and runs Roza's Bridal Makeover, a popular beauty business based in Queens, New York.
Roza is passionate about empowering women through beauty and was set to bring her expertise back to Bangladesh — she planned to conduct a two-day bridal makeup masterclass in Dhaka in January 2025.
How Tahsan and Roza Met
The pair started out as friends before their relationship deepened. Tahsan reflected on how their story unfolded: "Looking back to the day we first met, it has been quite a while. We began conversing from there and, sometime in the year, agreed on marrying."
Tahsan Khan's Career at the Time
Tahsan continues to balance music and acting, dividing his time between Bangladesh and the United States. Around the time of the wedding, he had recently featured in the Hollywood-filmed music video for "Bhule Jabo" — a collaborative track with artists Sanjoy and Muza — and was working on 12 additional tracks.
The "Bhule Jabo" video was shot near the iconic Hollywood sign in Los Angeles, marking a milestone for Tahsan's international musical presence.
Tahsan's Second Marriage
This is Tahsan Khan's second marriage. He was previously married to actress Rafiath Rashid Mithila; the couple separated in 2017 and share a daughter together.
