Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC), the UAE's largest exhibition and conference venue, has appointed Momentus Technologies to overhaul its venue and event management operations. The deal brings a bespoke integrated platform to one of the world's busiest event hubs, covering everything from bookings and logistics to real-time data analysis.
DWTC Taps Momentus for Next-Generation Event Tech
Momentus Technologies specialises in state-of-the-art venue and event management solutions, and the company will now introduce system-wide enhancements across DWTC's full portfolio. In 2023, DWTC welcomed 2.47 million visitors — a milestone that underscores the scale of operations the new platform must support.
The partnership is designed to facilitate smoother event bookings, raise operational efficiency, and set new benchmarks within the global events industry. Momentus will provide a bespoke platform to manage DWTC's extensive event bookings, venue and event operations, and real-time data analysis, enabling the complex logistics that come with hosting high-profile international exhibitions and world-class conferences.
What Mahir Julfar Said
Mahir Julfar, Executive Vice President at Dubai World Trade Centre, highlighted the significance of the appointment:
"At DWTC, we have built a reputation for maintaining exceptional standards in event and venue management, consistently meeting the evolving demands of the industry."
Julfar added that Momentus Technologies' substantial experience in providing cutting-edge logistical solutions will assist DWTC in the successful operationalisation of its large portfolio of international exhibitions and conferences — confirming the centre's position as a leading global event organiser.
Momentus Technologies: A Global Venue Management Leader
Momentus Technologies is not new to large-scale venues. The company, founded in 1985 and headquartered in the United States, serves more than 60,000 users across 50+ countries. Its client base spans convention and exhibition centres, higher education institutions, corporate venues, stadiums and arenas, and arts and culture centres.
Alex Alexandrov, CEO of Momentus Technologies, called the DWTC deal a significant step for the company's regional ambitions: "This partnership marks a significant milestone for Momentus as we expand our footprint in the Middle East."
Strengthening DWTC's Global Position
With an estimated economic output of AED 248 billion and more than 38 million business visitors attracted to Dubai over its history, DWTC's scale demands world-class operational infrastructure. By integrating Momentus Technologies' venue management software, DWTC aims to set new standards of efficiency and innovation across its diverse portfolio — and to cement its reputation as a premier destination for global events.
The partnership reflects a broader trend of UAE venues investing in advanced event-tech platforms to meet rising international demand and deliver exceptional delegate experiences at scale.
