WETEX Dubai 2024 is set to commence at the Dubai World Trade Centre from 1 to 3 October 2024, bringing together the world's foremost innovators in sustainable energy, water management, and environmental technology under one roof.
What Is WETEX Dubai 2024?
The Water, Energy, Technology and Environment Exhibition — known as WETEX — is now in its 26th edition. Organised by Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA), it is widely recognised as the largest sustainability and clean-energy exhibition in the region.
This year's event will span an area of 87,494 square metres across multiple halls at the Dubai World Trade Centre, including Halls 1–8, Sheikh Maktoum Hall, Sheikh Saeed Halls 1–3, and the Trade Centre Arena.
Scale and Global Participation
WETEX Dubai 2024 will host 2,800 companies from 65 countries, with 21 international pavilions representing governments and industry groups from across the globe. The exhibition has attracted 68 sponsors and 37 partners and supporters, reflecting growing international commitment to sustainable development in the Gulf region.
Sustainable Technologies on Display
The event will showcase state-of-the-art technologies on energy, water saving, and management of natural resources, as well as environmentally friendly practices. Key focus areas include:
- Renewable energy and clean power generation - Water management and efficiency solutions - Green hydrogen production technologies - Decarbonisation and carbon capture and storage (CCS) - Green mobility including electric vehicles and alternative fuels - Smart and sustainable cities powered by artificial intelligence
Major Exhibitors at WETEX 2024
Global technology leaders including Hitachi Energy, SAP, and Huawei are among the participants. Emirates National Oil Company (ENOC) will showcase advanced refining technologies, smart energy management systems, and initiatives in biofuels and emission reduction — directly supporting the Dubai Clean Energy Strategy 2050 and the Dubai Net Zero Carbon Emissions Strategy 2050.
